She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Elkins and Barbara Elkins (Kieler). She is survived by: her husband Terry Berger; her children, Shaun Berger (Lindsay), Lisa Smith (Kyle) and Kyle Berger (Kristiana); her grandchildren, Landan, Colton, Elin, Isla and Carter; her aunt Mame; her siblings, Cindy Nobles (Bob), Norman Elkins, Steven Elkins and Jeannette Gage (Tim); and her siblings-in-law, Katrina Messersmith (Dennis), Angela Purvis and Matthew Berger (Laura).

Memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, or the American Heart Association.
