She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis A. Ganaway and Gussie A. Ganaway; her siblings, Louis Ganaway, Jr., William Ganaway, Sr., Mary L. Williams and Madeline Thomas; and her siblings-in-law, Willie C. Bright, Sr., Harry Williams, Sr. and Connie Ganaway of West Virginia.

She is survived by: her son Mark Muhammad (Doris); and her sister Curtissean Bright. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, one son in law and two daughter in laws, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
