We bid farewell to Rosella Slocum of Fort Wayne, Indiana, born in Defiance, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 14, 2025 at the age of 95. Rosella touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Herr and Margaret Herr (Keller); her husband Robert Riffling Slocum (Bob); her siblings, Mary, John, Katherine, Helen, Joseph, Bernard, James, Elizabeth and Leo; and her great grandchild Rose Marie.
She is survived by: her children, Robin Slocum (Kara), Shawn Slocum (Marianne), Todd (Lisa), Dawn Wilkening Fort (David) and Nanette Anderson (Dave).
A prayer was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Covington Memorial Funeral Home (8408 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804). Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church (10702 Aboite Center Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804).
