With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rose Ellen Marquart of Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on September 25, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Rose may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rose touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Messerschmidt and Ruth Messerschmidt; her husband Jack Marquart; and her brother Don Messerschmidt. She is survived by: her children, Ruth Strawser, Jessica Marquart, Jacob Marquart (Elizabeth) and Reid Marquart.

Preferred memorials may be directed to the family in care of Jacob Marquart to assist with final expenses.
