She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Happ and Gladys Happ; her husband Thomas Freiburger; and her siblings, Virginia Haggenjos and Richard Happ.

She is survived by: her children, Julie Harter, Steve Freiburger and Tony Freiburger (Tracey); her grandchildren, Curt (Holly), Mandi (Rob), Adam (Alexis) and AJ; and her siblings, Joan Giant (Merle) and Charles Happ (Zelda). She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations in her honor may be directed to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
