We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Rose Calligan (Fort Wayne, Indiana), born in Sunset, Louisiana. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Roberts and Rose Roberts; her husband Cephas Calligan; her siblings, Ida Roberts, Irene Roque, Shirley Jolivette, Nelson Roberts, Adam Roberts and Walter Roberts; her grandson Allen Bolton; and her goddaughter Roslyn Irby.

She is survived by: her children, Suzette Samuel, Cephas A. Calligan, Sonda Calligan and Mark Calligan; her siblings, Gloria Hall of Port Arthur, Texas and Sherman Roberts of Sunset; and her grandchildren, James Bolton, Ronald Calligan, LaKisha Woods, Jaque Reynolds, LaTasha Bolton and Ceara Ash. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friends.
