He was predeceased by: his parents, Smith Jr. Thompson and Jewel Thompson; his stepmother Edythe; and his siblings, Joyce and Curtyss.
He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Trent (Tammy) and NiCole (Kirk); his grandchildren, Brittany (Tim), Aariel, Taylor, Kennedy and Griffin; and his great grandchildren, Keion, Nia, Mitchell, Mya and Ella. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
