He is survived by: his wife Shirley Bearss of Fort Wayne; his children, Christina Vaughn (Sam) of South Bend, IN and Donnie Bearss (Niecey) of Silver Springs, FL; his grandchildren, Stephan, Zack, Imanual, Nikolas, Kylah and Isaiah; his great grandchildren, Caden, Dante, Gamora and Conner; and his sisters, Sharon Atkinson and Debbie Thacker.
