He was predeceased by: his parents, William Olson and Agnes Olson (Hewlitt); and his wife Loide M. Olson (Schutes). He is survived by: his son Chuck Olson (Jennifer) of Lancaster, Ohio; his stepsons, Jeff Schutes of Washington, DC, Paul Schutes (Gerri) of Johns Creek and John Schutes (Anne) of Brimfield, Massachusetts; his grandson Tyler Olson; his stepgrandchildren, Allison Schutes, John Schutes Jr., Rachel Schutes, Katherine Schutes and Sarah Schutes; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ellerie, Brooklyn and Emerson SchutesHe.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Concordia Lutheran Church (4245 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46815). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Preferred memorials can be given to Lutheran Life Villages – Chapel Fund.
