He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Schaffner and Mary Schaffner (Cunningham); and his wife Judy. He is survived by: his children, Vicki Schaffner of Mesa, AZ, Scott Schaffner (June Fields) of Las Vegas, NV, Dianne Schaffner (Steve Roach) of Fort Wayne, IN and Jill Beery (Jared) of Fort Wayne, IN; his granddaughters, Cassie Lettenberger (Brett), Christy Naylor (Matt) and Natalie Schaffner (Ryan Evans); his siblings, Ann McNicholl and Richard Schaffner (Mimi); and his stepsons, Steve, Jim and Tom Sherbert. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
