With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Lee Fahl of Fort Wayne, Indiana, born in Kendallville, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 13, 2024 at the age of 96. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Fahl and Olive McCoy; his former wife Janet Fahl; and his brother Ralph Fahl. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Fahl; his children, Vicki Bertsch (Randall), Robert "Kent" Fahl (Rebecca) and Brian Fahl (Angie); his grandchildren, Julie LeMaster (John), Nathan Bertsch (Jenalyn), Erica Stone (David), Ashton Helgeson (Derek), Felicia Siewert (Jordan), Rachel Szucsits (Justin) and Rob Fahl; his great grandchildren, Justin, Hannah, Joshua, Ryland, Makynzie, Sophie, Aurora, Felicity, Serennity, Paisley and Braylee; his children, Cathy Merz (Steve) and Greg Chaffin; his grandchildren, Jeff Merz (Stacie), Caitie Jones (Bruno), Molly Smeathers (Jason) and Annie Phillips (Trey); and his great grandchildren, Emmeline, Cole, Elon, Rowan and Sorenne.
