He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Hartman and Dorothy Hartman; his sister Virginia (Ginny); his brother-in-law Robert Yenney; his brothers, John (Jack) and James Hartman (Jimmy); and his son Michael.
He is survived by: his sons, Stephen Sr. (Kristina Harris) and Jeff (Brenda); his grandchildren, Teri Lynn, Stephen Jr. (Amanda Musser), Andrew, Amanda, Brendan and Veronica Hartman; and his sister-in-law Lois Hartman. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
