We bid farewell to Robert H. Wyss Sr. of Fort Wayne, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 21, 2025 at the age of 91. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Edward and Gertrude Wyss (Reilly); his stepmother Hester Wyss (Barkley); his brother James Wyss (Carolyn); and his brothers-in-law, Jerry O'Keefe and Robert Houser.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Beth Keenan (Terry), Kathy Stone, Robert Wyss, Jr., Jennifer Steigmeyer (CJ) and Michael Wyss (Jessica); his stepchildren, Jon Stratton (Julie) and Jule Calloway (Carl); his grandsons, Nick, Zach, Alex, Evan and Tim; his great grandchildren, Anna, Peter, Carolyn, Carson, Phillip, Joe and Harrison; his stepgrandchildren, Lillian and Avery; and his sisters, Mary Houser, Rosie O'Keefe and Marg Knouff (Steve).
A rosary was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Divine Mercy Funeral Home-Cedar Canyons (1986 W Cedar Canyons Rd, Huntertown, IN 46748). Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A Mass will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church (1502 E Wallen Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46825). A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Fort Wayne Catholic Cemetery (3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805).
Memorial contributions may be made to Masses, Saint Mary's Soup Kitchen, or the donor's choice.
