He was predeceased by: his brother Dick Shenfeld; and his father Richard Shenfeld. He is survived by: his wife Laurie Shenfeld; his children, Isabelle Shenfeld, Kayla Morimanno, Taylor Roenneburg (John Roenneburg), Jason Shenfeld (Heather), Danielle Shenfeld (Chris), Zach Shenfeld (Aly) and Jesse Shenfeld; his mother Norma Shenfeld; and his siblings, Roger Shenfeld and Pam Shenfeld. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the family.
