He is survived by: his wife Noreen; and his children, Chris (Vonda) of Fort Wayne, Heather Zion (Kevin) of Fort Wayne and Joshua of Fort Wayne. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers, Preferred Memorials in Dick's honor may be directed to Acres Land Trust or Fort Wayne Trails.
