He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Runyan and Ida Runyan (Visscher); his son Kirk Runyan; and his siblings, George Runyan, Bob Runyan, Ed Visscher and Sharon Rothenbuhaler.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ed Vischer and Sharon Rothenbuhler; his wife Sue Runyan (Wells); his children, Michael Runyan (Caroline), Ken Runyan (Ann Sproull) and Kim Runyan; his grandchildren, Brandy, Sam, Case, Joy, Tia, Carrie and Luke; and his friend Corvette. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
