He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Lee McHenry. He is survived by: his children, Vickie Lynn McHenry, Christine Ann Volkert, Richard Ray McHenry Jr. (Deb), Jamie Lee Bischoff (Brandon) and Larry David McHenry (Linda); and his granddaughters, Kristina and Alyssa. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; 3 great- great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be made in Richard's memory to, Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana.
