He was predeceased by: his parents, William Franke and Ann Franke (Cenko). He is survived by: his wife Cherylene Franke (Nahrwold); his children, Pamela Franke and Jeffrey Franke (Lori); his siblings, William Franke, Mary Erb, Stephen Franke (Rebecca), David Franke (Tina) and Michael Franke (Theresa); and his grandson Logan Franke (Emma).

Memorial donations may be given to St Peter's Catholic Church, Fort Wayne, or Stillwater Hospice, of Fort Wayne.
