He was predeceased by: his wife Brenda Ochoa; his parents, Pantaleon Ochoa and Paulita Ochoa; his siblings, Henry Ochoa, Panfilo Ochoa (Blackie), Alberto Ochoa, Pantaleon Ochoa (Junior), Jose Ochoa (Mexican Joe) and Josephine Barajas (La Cuata); and his grandson Jacob Ochoa.

He is survived by: his children, Rachelle Hall (Gene), Noel Ochoa, Aaron Ochoa (Carrie) and Nathan Ochoa; his grandchildren, Brandon Hall (Shyenne), AJ Ochoa and Kayla Hall; and his sisters, Olga Gonzalez and Berta Cruz.
