With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Dean Smith (Fort Wayne, Indiana), born in Clinton, Missouri, who passed away on June 1, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Francis Arlene Smith; his children, Gary Douglas Smith, Mark Lynn Smith and Beth Charlene Buckler; and his grandchildren, Casey, Leah, Justin, Amanda, Jason, Taylor and Kylie.
