He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgana Cater and Momper; and his sister-in-law Kathleen Cater. He is survived by: his wife Renee Cater (Cuney); his sons, Paul Cater of Ft. Wayne and Timothy Cater of Ft. Wayne; and his siblings, Janet Stillman (Dean), Stanley Cater of Ft. Wayne, Kenneth Cater of Ft. Wayne, Gary Cater of Ft. Wayne and Brian Cater (Kimberly) of Ft. Wayne.
