With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard A. Strole in Fort Wayne, Indiana, who passed away on July 26, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Strole and Fern Strole; and his sister Mary Shenfeld (Jerry). He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, David Strole (Dawn) of Fort Wayne, Steven Strole (Tracy) of Fort Wayne, Barbara Bradtmiller (Daniel) of Huntertown, IN and Rebecca Tholen (Marcus) of Fort Wayne, IN; his grandchildren, Ashley Land, Danielle Spencer (Andrew), Zachary Strole, Dustin Bradtmiller (Linh), Jason Strole, Jacob Strole, Corey Strole, Noah Tholen and Madilyn Tholen; and his great grandchild Addyson.

In lieu of flowers, the family's preferred memorials are Lincolnshire Church of the Brethren or Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
