He was predeceased by: his children, Raymond, Lester Blauvelt and Cheryl Blauvelt; and his brothers, Larry (Virginia), Don and Roy Blauvelt.
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Nissen of New Haven and Jeffrey Blauvelt of Fort Wayne; his children-in-law, Paul Doak and Paula Blauvelt of Fort Wayne; his friend Steve Willhoff of Leo; his pet Shih Tzu; and his grandson Lonnie Shelton. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Divine Mercy Funeral Home - Fort Wayne (3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Divine Mercy Funeral Home (3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805).
