She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold E. Schnepp and Opal L. Schnepp (Wright); her spouse Lee E. Bryant; and her son Duane Bryant. She is survived by: her daughter Cindy Bryant of Fort Wayne, Indiana; her grandchildren, Erin Bryant (Jorge Rico) of Phoenix, Arizona and David Bryant (Emily Price) of Decatur, Indiana; and her great grandchild Remington Duane Bryant.

In lieu of flowers, Phyllis requested that memorials be given to St. John Lutheran Church, Bingen Tanzania Mission or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
