He was predeceased by: his stepbrother Clay Helmkamp. He is survived by: his parents, James Brown (Cindy Smith) and Rose Helmkamp (Ralph); his brothers, Drywall and Painting; his wife Jeri Brown; his children, Randall Junk and Andrea Badger (Kelly); his grandchildren, Tyson, Anastasia, Cormac and Quinn; his mother-in-law Kathy Humphress; his siblings, Renee Brown (Brian Passwater) and Gregory Helmkamp (Nicole); his stepsiblings, Chad Helmkamp (Lauren), Matt Helmkamp (Angela) and Shannon Nevers (Neal); his close friend Tony Peterson (Angel); his sister-in-law Renae Helmkamp; and his niece Ashley Brown (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Memorials may be made to his Grandchildren's Education Fund in c/o Jeri Brown.
