She was predeceased by: her parents, William Schuerman and Iris Heeter (Wilt); her stepfather Kenneth Heeter; her brother William C. Schuerman; and her son-in-law Stewart Williams.

She is survived by: her husband Richard Ellison; her children, Julie Williams and Jon Ellison (Brenda); her grandchildren, Leah, Lauren Williams, Brittany Ellison, Kaitlyn Powell (Soren) and Ryan Ellison; and her stepgrandchildren, William Reed (Katie) and Elizabeth Reed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church.
