She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Edwards and Blanch Hughes; her grandparents, Morris and Mary Hughes; her aunts and uncles, Bernice Causey, Pauline Hughes, Virginia Bennett, Paul Hughes, John Hughes, Earl Hughes and Willie Hughes; and her godmother Mallie Craig Lapsley.
She is survived by: her daughter Angela Billingslea; her adoptive son Jamal Johnson; her grandchildren, Ny'eli Holmes and J'Andre Mitchell; her children, Charles Seals and Hiawatha Hunt; and her aunt Elma Mitchell. She is also survived by siblings, cousins, friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church (451 E Douglas Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46802). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
