She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis J. Leyser and Florence B. Leyser; and her husband William J. Burgess. She is survived by: her children, Melanie Snyder (Donald) of Fort Wayne, Rhett Burgess (Carol) of Leo, Rod Burgess (Kaye) of Higganum and Brig Burgess (Linda) of Palm City, Florida. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations in Millicent's honor may be directed to The Salvation Army.
