With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michelle R. Benton of Fort Wayne, Indiana, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on October 30, 2024 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Michelle may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Michelle touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Clarence Benton. She is survived by: her mother Marian Benton; her son Brent Parker-Benton (Christina) of Fort Wayne, IN; her siblings, Chansse Benton of Fort Wayne, IN and Sean Benton (Mallory) of Los Angeles, CA.; and her grandchildren, Akira, Brent "Yocef HaSheniy" and Nolan "Benyamin" of Ethan. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ellis Funeral Home (1021 E Lewis St, Fort Wayne, IN 46803). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
