He was predeceased by: his parents, James Burge and Barbara Burge (Stilley); his wife Julie; and his stepmother Clara. He is survived by: his children, Michael S. Burge (Christina) of Clevland, TN, Megan Warthen (Mitch) of Bourbonnais, Jessica Post (Trent) of Ft. Wayne, IN and Matthew Burge of Roanoke, IN; his grandchildren, Rylin Warthen, Gavin Warthen, Owen Post and Gracelyn Post; and his brothers, Larry (Mylene), Herb, Andy (Becky) and Chris Burge (Angela). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Covington Memorial Funeral Home (8408 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46804). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Muscular Dystrophy Association.
