He was predeceased by: his father Archie Limpert; his wife Regina J. Limpert; and his sister Janet VanDeusen. He is survived by: his son Matthew Limpert of Fort Wayne; and his stepson David Dullaghan of Kokomo, IN. He is also survived by two granddaughters; and three great-granddaughters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Cross Lutheran Church.
