We bid farewell to MaryAnn Deventer (Fort Wayne, Indiana), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 26, 2024 at the age of 97. MaryAnn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though MaryAnn may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those MaryAnn touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Balthazor and Albert Balthazor; her siblings, Rachel Vogt (Balthazor) and Merlyn Balthazor (Uncle Moe); and her husband Robert J. Deventer.
She is survived by: her sibling Shirley Mueller (Balthazor); and her children, Walter Deventer (Butch), Georgia Deventer, Roberta Drew (Deventer), Carol Deventer and Jim Deventer. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
