She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Johnson and Estella Johnson (Lapsley); her husband Charles McKinney Sr.; and her siblings, Frank Johnson (Catherine) of Detroit, AC Johnson of Fort Wayne, Delia Lowman (Lewis) of Detroit, Rebecca Moses (Fremon) of Detroit and Rosie Morris (James) of Fort Wayne.
She is survived by: her children, Charles McKinney Jr. (Jakeria) of Avon and Megan Wehrwein (Michael) of Avon; her siblings, Freddie Johnson (Betty) of Fort Wayne, Lewis Johnson (Gertha) of Fort Wayne, Cora Essex (Wilbert) of Fort Wayne, Clara Rencher (Henry) of Uniontown and Emma Williams of Fort Wayne; and her sister-in-law Mary Agnes Johnson of Fort Wayne. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
