It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Craib (Fort Wayne, Indiana), who passed away on March 7, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Mary Elizabeth departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mary Elizabeth may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mary Elizabeth leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Courtney Oliver and Uphama Oliver; her husband George Craib; and her daughter Betty Grawcock. She is survived by: her children, Al Craib (Marlene) and Nora Braun (Jim); and her son-in-law John Grawcock. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the D. O. McComb and Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home (4017 Maplecrest Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46815). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
