She was predeceased by: her husband Gary; and her granddaughter Sarah. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Yentes (John), Steven Simmons (Janene) and Mark Simmons (Lori); her grandchildren, Kate, Charles (Brandi), Ben, Whitney and Sherry (Bryce); and her great grandchildren, Haley (Austin), Milah, McKennah, Cohen, Eli, Mya and Joann.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Humane Fort Wayne, Black Pine Animal Sanctuary or to the donor's choice.
