He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Burns and Viola Burns; his brother Larry W. Burns; and his nephew Chad Kinsey. He is survived by: his siblings, Shirley Parks (Bill) of Fort Wayne, JoAnn Workman (Rollie) of Fort Wayne and Sally Penner (Kevin) of Fort Wayne; and his sister-in-law Linda Butler of Fort Wayne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
