She is survived by: her children, Dan Berning, Sharon Hudson (Terry), Jim Berning (Elaine) and Patricia Trier; her grandchildren, Jennifer Longbrake (Andy), Michael Trier, Heather Brown (Bishop), John Hudson (Kelly), Monica Berning, Janelle Berning, Jackie Justice (Leean) and Matthew Berning (Lexi); and her great grandchildren, Sean, Elizabeth, Melissa Longbrake, Adelyn, Abe, Arya Brown, Lillian, Gracelyn Hudson, Max Berning and Andi Justice.

Memorial donations may be directed to Saint Paul's Lutheran Church or Camp Lutherhaven.
