She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hanefeld and Ruth Hanefeld of New Haven; and her sons, Michael and Jeffery. She is survived by: her daughters, Kelly Graham (Richard) of Rancho Cucamonga, CA and Kimberly Nielsen (Michael) of Fort Wayne; her brother Larry Hanefeld of Urbana, Ohio; her grandchildren, Sarah, Sean Graham, Rachael and Ryan Nielsen; and her friend Gervaise Bastian.
