We are sad to announce that on October 25, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Marianne P. Platt of Fort Wayne, Indiana, born in Cincinnati, Ohio. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Marianne shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Marianne farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Powell and Carolyn Powell; her husbands, Dr. William Mead and James R; and her brother William T. Powell.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Gilbert of Fort Wayne, IN and Jeffrey Gilbert (Troy Cline) of Davidsonville, MD; her sister Helen Pierson of Phoenix, AZ; and her granddaughters, Jamie Gilbert of Fort Myers, FL and Angela Reed of Arlington, VA..
