She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav and Katharine; her husband John Matiszik; her siblings, Martha Rapsch, Marie Behrendt, Frieda Biewald, Ella Hedenus, Gertrud Rüdiger, Erich Kirste and Anna Picht; and her stepson Reinhold Matiszik.
She is survived by: her sister Lischen Minartz; her stepdaughter Hilda Moeller; and her grandchildren, Stefani Bunzel, Nicole Waters, Mark Matiszik and Christopher Matiszik. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
