She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Derby and Alta Derby (Plummer); and her husband Ellis White (Navy Officer). She is survived by: her sons, Bruce White (Kathy), Dana White (Barbara) and Kurt White (Corazon). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
