She was predeceased by: her parents, George Gillardo (Joe) and Violet Gillardo; her husband Helmut Wiegmann; her son George; and her grandson Chris Janes.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel (Janelle) of Huntertown, Ricky (Elaine) of Huntington, Terry (Pamela) of Ft. Wayne, Shirley Janes (Corky) of Hicksville, OH and Sandra Babbit (Steve) of Ft. Wayne. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Divine Mercy Funeral Home - Fort Wayne (3500 Lake Ave, Fort Wayne, IN 46805). A prayer was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Queen of Angels Catholic Church (1500 W State Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46808). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Odd Fellows Cemetery (1109 Hartzell Rd, New Haven, IN 46774). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Queen of Angels Catholic Church (1500 W State Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46808).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Queen of Angels Catholic Church in memory of Madonna.
