He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold R. Meyers and Dorothy Meyers (Wagner). He is survived by: his wife Carole M. Meyers; his children, Gary Meyers (Carol), David Meyers (Elizabeth), Christopher Meyers (Sherry), James Meyers (Monica) and Suzanne Kelley; his son-in-law Timothy Kelley; and his grandson James Meyers II. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's School or Masses to the church.
