She is survived by: her parent Joella Lutz (Brown); her husband Robert McDowell of Fort Wayne; her children, Sarah Tumbleson of Fort Wayne and Matt Spillers (Yvonne) of New Haven; her siblings, Shelly Locker (Garth) of Fort Wayne, Rhonda Reichard (Jim) of New Haven and Gary Lutz (Mary) of Michigan; and her sister-in-law Christine Gantt of Fort Wayne. She is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
