With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lovilee M. Johnson in Fort Wayne, Indiana, born in Brickeys, Arkansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lovilee left this world on April 3, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reverend King King-Gleason and Margaret King-Gleason; and her daughter Sandra Craig Ridley. She is survived by: her husband Joe Johnson; her granddaughter Kennedy; her son Michael Craig; her stepsons, Therron Johnson and Todd Widmeyer; her grandson Evan Craig; and her stepgrandchildren, Tyra Widmeyer, Sophie Johnson, Ayabna Johnson, Somiya Johnson and Soma Johnson.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Turner Chapel AME Church (836 E Jefferson Blvd, Fort Wayne, IN 46803). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. They would later move their membership to Turner Chapel A. M. E. Church where she remained faithful until 2020 when the pandemic struck, which caused limited attendance.
