She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Homer Oser and Viola Sophia Melton (Graft); her former husband Charles Lewis Faurote; her husband Richard Karl Hensel; her daughter Sharon Eve Faurote; her sister Mary Lou Hay; and her daughter-in-law Vicki Faurote.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila Wise (Steven) of Churubusco, Cheryl Pike of Fort Wayne, Joseph Faurote of Richardson, Texas and Angela Ray of Hicksville, Ohio.; and her sisters, Luella Wilson of Ossian, Helen Rakestraw of Fort Wayne and Billie Thomas (Bobby) of Angola. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in honor of Lou Ann be made to Golden Harvest Food Bank, or the food pantry of choice.
