She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Borden and AnnMarie Borden (Davis); and her sons, Gregory Richter (Debra) and William Richter. She is survived by: her husband Maynard Richter; and her children, Susan Fox (James), Margaret "Peg" Murray (David), Mark Richter (Viviana), James "Jim" Richter (Janet), Lisa Wilson (Gary) and Linda Rezendes (John). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be written to Elara Caring Hospice and Chateau Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Jean's name.
