He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman F. Grever and Emma C. Grever; and his siblings, Alvin, Harvey, Ralph, Eugene, LeRoy, Herman, Glenn, James, Eleanor and Marie Grever.

He is survived by: his significant other Norene Grever; his children, Pam Gould (Bruce), Linda Grever, Rita Brand (Max), Tom Grever (Jodi) and Tim Grever; his sister Judith Schuetz; his grandchildren, Jimmy Tilton (Joy), Andrew Tilton, Luke Tilton (Jenny), Ruthie Pease (Nate), Jakob Brand, Naomi Brand and Nicole Brand; his great grandchildren, Scarlett Pease, Esli Tilton, Elory Pease, Arieh Tilton and Shiloh Tilton; and his great great grandchild Jack Tilton. He is also survived by three sisters and eight brothers along with 15 double cousins.
