Sarah Newton wrote a sympathy message

“Dear Linda...to be graduated to heaven...what a mystery it is to those of us still left and you are the lucky one. I remember when my grandma died and you gave me a bible on a wooden pedestal you and Fred had made. It was so precious to me. Your home was a second home to me growing up. You were the finest of people. You were always encouraging me to behave better with my grandparents and though I just couldn't figure how...I will never forget your gentleness with me. Now you can rest forever with Jesus!”
