She was predeceased by: her parents, William Alexander Hart and Mary Frances Hart (Robertson); her husband Anthony "Tony" L. Slater of Mary's Catholic Church; and her brother William A. Hart. She is survived by: her daughter Alexandria "Allie" Lauren Volz (Joshua C.) of Fort Wayne; her grandsons, Henry Arnold Volz and Oliver Anthony Volz; her brother Richard C. "Digger" Hart (Jane) of Crestwood, KY; her sisters-in-law, Ilona Hart of Louisville, KY and Sarah K. Brown (Steve "Brownie") of Muncie; and her niece Mary Catherine Hart-Welsh.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bethany Lutheran Church (2435 Engle Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46809). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
